Many of us use MiV on a daily basis for everything from selling our things and asking parenting questions, to meeting new people and finding out what to do on a rainy day. In order to support the daily operations of MiV so we can all continue to benefit, we asked local businesses and MiV sponsors to donate their good and services, and they did not let us down! We received so many generous donations that we’re raffling off not one, but THREE fantastic prize packages, including a private yoga lesson from GatherYoga, a cooking class from Safran Cuisine, fitness classes from SHEzone, cakes from Patachou, a voucher from Playball, beauty treatments from U-Rang-A-Tan, baby food from Goodness Gracious, and much much more!

You can do your part to support MiV and get in on a chance to win by buying raffle tickets, which will be on sale for the next month.

The raffle drawing will be held on Wednesday, 25 July 2012 at the La Barcarolle Beach Bar in Prangins during the next Mom’s Night Out. (You need not be present to win).

The cost is 20chf for 1, or 55chf for 3.

Proceeds from the raffle will be used not only to support the day-to-day operations of MiV, but also will be used to subsidize exclusive MiV events that are already in the works, like a wine tasting and soiree at a local vineyard in September!

Here’s how you can get your hands on raffle tickets:

1. Purchase an e-Ticket online using your PayPal account.
Go to www.moms-in-vaud.com/blog and click on the “Buy Now” link in the right side bar, indicating how many tickets you’d like to purchase. Be sure to include your full name and email address in the “notes” section so we know where to send your e-Tickets.

2. Have a ticket delivered to you.
Email chelsea_heuer@yahoo.com to arrange to have one of the MiV Social Committee members deliver you a paper ticket.

3. Buy a ticket from the U-Rang-A-Tan Salon in Gland
Head out to the U-Rang-A-Tan Salon on Route de Cité-Ouest 2 in Gland and buy your ticket(s) in cash

4. Buy a ticket from Michelle at Bumps & Babies Events
Attend the next Expat Doula Switzerland/Moms-in-Vaud Joint Bumps & Babies Coffee Morning & Support Group, being held on Friday, 29 June 2012 from 9:30 until about noon.
